Prayer Meetings

September 2026

To our dear church family and friends,

September saw our Church Prayer Meeting go into its first year and what a wonderful year we all had, in receiving blessings , learning together, praying and seeing prayers answered.

The beginning of Autumn saw us having teaching from Andy on prayer.  We were given a verse to take with us into silent prayer which was wonderful to us.

A reflection was given, called 'we are safe in His hands' being inspired from John 10 verse 29 which reads:-

'My Father who gives them Me is greater than all and no man is able to pluck them, meaning His sheep, out of our Father's hand.'

There followed two inspiring hymns and then it was straight into the prayer requests which were -

• Heather Seeds starting work

• Lottery application process

• Nursing Home Ministry

• LED lighting project

• Preaching series on God's book

• Thanks for busy builders

• Faith factory starting 13th September

• Alenka 's social media training

• Get together 12th September

• Natula and her work with schools and plug Alpha course starting 9th September

• Financial assistance for to help Joyce

• Groups starting up again

• Funding application

• Trip to Londonderry 21st to 27th Sept

• Abbey Centre outreach

Can we just leave with a prayer -

Our Heavenly Father, thank you Father as your sheep, we

can come to you to pray feeling relaxed and confident knowing

that you will listen to us.  Thank you that Carnmoney Parish belongs

to you and that no power is strong enough to pull us away from you.  Amen.

The next prayer meeting in on Wednesday, 7th October, at 2pm in the Memorial Room in the Church Hall.  A warm welcome is there for you, because this meeting belongs to you also.
